Allow me to introduce myself to you. I am Jeff Sorensen, Township Supervisor. I am a long time resident of Cooper Charter Township; graduated from Parchment High School in 1979. I have been blessed with a wonderful family, my wife of over 25 years, and 2 daughters. I worked almost 20 years with the Cooper Charter Township Fire Department, 12 of those years as Assistant Fire Chief, before being elected as Supervisor.
I was elected to the Office of Township Supervisor in 2000 and I enjoy serving the residents and businesses of Cooper Township.
Cooper Charter Township is a wonderful growing community rich in history, abundant natural resources, and recreational opportunities. I hope you enjoy your tour through out the Township.

Hello, my name is DeAnna Janssen and I’m the Cooper Township Clerk. My husband Jon and I built our home in Cooper Township in 1999 and our kids graduated from Plainwell Schools. I worked as Deputy Clerk for Oshtemo Township for 18 years, during which I also served as Trustee on the Cooper Township Board for 15 years and the Planning Commission for 8 years. I was elected as Township Clerk in 2016 and I look forward to continuing my service to our great community and residents in any way I can.

Hello, my name is Robin DeHaan, Township Treasurer. I am a lifelong resident of Cooper Township and graduated from Plainwell Community Schools. My education includes a B.A. from Western Michigan University and a Certificate in International Studies from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
After attending WMU I interned for Congressman Fred Upton and volunteered for State Senator Tom George. I have served as Deputy Treasurer, and I am excited to serve the residents and taxpayers of Cooper Charter Township in my new role as Treasurer.
