Allow me to introduce myself to you. I am Jeff Sorensen, Township Supervisor. I am a longtime resident of Cooper Township; graduated from Parchment High School: spent 17 years on the Cooper Township Fire Department, 1994 until I was elected as supervisor, as Asst. Chief. This is my first term as supervisor and have enjoyed working with and for the residents of Cooper Township.

We have a wonderful community here in Cooper Township rich in history, and growing very rapidly. I hope you enjoy your tour through our Township.

My name is Carol DeHaan and I am a life-long resident of Cooper Township. My involvement with the Township began at age 16 when I was hired as a co-op student thru Plainwell High School.

I was elected Township Trustee in 1976 and served until I was appointed Treasurer. Prior to being appointed Treasurer in 1997, I had a 21-year career at The Upjohn Company/Pharmacia.

It has been my pleasure over the years to serve the residents and taxpayers of Cooper Township, and I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about any concerns you may have regarding my office or the township in general.
