Mission

It is the mission of the Cooper Charter Township Fire Department to commit ourselves to the protection of our community and its visitors. "Commitment to our community" is achieved through education, fire prevention, and the response of highly trained fire and EMS personnel.

Locations

We have two Fire Stations: Station #1 which is located at 1590 West "D" Avenue, and Station #2 which is located at 3160 McKinley Street.

Employment Opportunities

Cooper Township is protected by a paid/on-call Volunteer Fire Department. We always accept applications for the position of firefighter, as openings in our department may occur periodically. Applicants must be residents or live within a half-mile of the township.
